Emotional assaults were made
Suffering mind at home he stayed
He wished it’d all just go away
He was the tree that grew in grey.

Silence weep and Sadness roar
Burdened back grew red and raw
Crimson skylight above, he saw
Was always too dim to see much more.

Freezing from the ice and snow
He had nowhere else he could go
Despising all, he crept down low
And stayed the night among his foes.

Standing doomed before his eyes
The torment, the pain, it multiplies.
The feeding frenzy, it will not die.
He slips and falls, abandoned, he cries.

Unintentional thoughts were left at bay
And all he knows, it fades away
He didn’t want it to end this way,
He was the tree that grew in grey.

- ~Zivilyn231 got my 100 Pageview request and asked me to write a poem with the title:

"The Tree that Grew in Grey"

I understand that he's doing a flash animation with the same title, but I have no idea what it's about so this poem is my own representation. Hope you enjoy.

You faved it, but don't understand it...?

Well, I guess it's about a guy.. a thing.. something with feelings anyway, and he feels alone, picked on, (all the things that happen in high school i guess XD) In the end he commits suicide.

Understand it any better?
